If you have an old, broken umbrella lying somewhere in your house or in your car trunk, don’t throw it away. It makes great eco-bags. The umbrella in picture (1) is made of 8 pieces of triangle-shaped cloths from which 2 eco-bags and a small pouch were made.

 The original snap fastener works well to keep the bag compact when not in use. A triangle bag is a perfect alternative to the conventional plastic grocery bags. Left-over materials yield a small pouch. Enjoy making my special eco-bags.
