Dress Made Classes
“Making my own clothes? No, I can’t do that!” I bet that’s how many of you feel about self-tailoring. If so, I suggest you think again. At Sew Easy New York, we show you the ins and outs of sewing and reforming techniques that allow you to design, sew and wear your own clothes that fit you. Choose items you like from our growing design selection. If you prefer items not found in our design selection, please let us know. You can also provide your own materials.
Classes are kept small to provide a sewing machine per student. All instructions will be designed to reflect each student’s level of technique and personal objectives so even if you’ve never done sewing, please do not hesitate at least to try it.

You will learn how to adjust the size of sample patterns into your size. You will also learn cloth-cutting, sewing and pressing techniques. For those who are not familiar with the use of a sewing machine, we provide a free mini-seminar and a practice session 30 minutes prior to the start of the lesson. It takes average of 2 lessons to make one dress.
